A sneaky fox has been causing trouble all month, attempting to steal the Easter Bunny's precious Easter eggs! The good people of Toronto have managed to thwart his daring attempts and scare him away by photographing him. But now, an inside source has revealed that the fox plans to strike again—he'll be stealing baskets of Easter eggs from a dozen locations across the Beaches on April 3rd. The Easter Bunny needs YOUR help and your TEAM of detectives to stop him!

How the Hunt Works:

You and your team will embark on a walking tour that takes you to a dozen locations throughout the Beaches. At each location, you'll need to decipher clues that guide you to a specific spot. Once you arrive, you'll use the app's geo-location feature to check-in within the designated geo-fenced area. Then comes the exciting part—you'll search for a hidden decal of the fox trying to steal an Easter egg basket. This decal contains a unique QR code. Scan the code and take a picture of the fox decal. The fox never lets anyone photograph him and always turns tail and runs away—taking his picture will cause him to flee and save the Easter eggs at that location!

After completing these tasks, you'll answer a skill-testing trivia question about the Beaches before moving on to solve the next clue and save the next basket of eggs.

Tasks You'll Complete:

  • Check-in inside designated geo-fenced areas using the app

  • Locate and photograph hidden decals of the fox stealing Easter egg baskets

  • Scan QR codes found on each decal

  • Upload photos or videos of your team members completing funny challenges

  • Answer multiple-choice Beach trivia questions at each location

The Grand Finale:

Completing all the tasks will unlock a special message revealing directions to a hidden final location where you'll meet the Easter Bunny himself! All successful participants will receive a special Easter treat from the Easter Bunny as a reward for saving the eggs.

Event Details:

  • When: April 3rd, anytime between 10am–2pm

  • Distance & Duration: The total route is approximately 3km long and takes about 90 minutes to complete

  • How to Travel: The route can be walked, biked, or driven

This is a fantastic way to get outdoors, enjoy a walking tour of the Beaches, and have fun with your team while helping save the Easter Bunny's eggs!
