Guidelines

Thank you for your interest in the Toronto Beaches Lions Club Easter Parade. The Parade is intended to provide an afternoon of family entertainment appropriate to Easter Sunday and to the Community/ Audience. If you would like to participate in the parade, please follow these Guidelines.

Toronto Beaches Lions Club Easter Parade 2017 Guidelines for Floats and Participants

  1. Register – preferably on-line – http://bit.ly/2kzNkD4 complete all information, consent to “Terms and Conditions”. Via Email - Print and Sign Registration Package , Scan Sign and Email to cimccague@sympatico.ca, mail copy with cheque to P.O. Box 4, 10 Ashbridges Bay Park Road , Toronto M4L 3W6. By Mail Print and Sign Registration Package - 3 Pages mail a copy with cheque to P.O. Box 4, 10 Ashbridges Bay Park Road, Toronto M4L 3W6 

  2. Date: Sunday, April 16, 2017. It begins at 2:00pm sharp and runs for approximately two hours. Where: On Queen Street at Munro Park and proceed west along Queen Street ending at Woodbine Ave.

  3. Starting Location # will be posted on the website asap prior to the parade date.

  4. Participants to arrive early at Staging Area (Water Plant) for check in. Lions will be available on Queen Street with Clip Boards to check you in starting at 11 :00 a.m. Do not wait until 1 :30 p.m. to arrive. Vehicles, buses, floats - access the staging area at the Water Filtration Plant by coming along Kingston Road and then down Scarborough Road. You will be met by a Lion (yellow vest/coat) at Queen Street to direct you to your start location . Make sure to check in as starting spots may change. Vehicles should be able to tum around at the Water Filtration Plant.

  5. The only Easter Bunny allowed in the parade is the one provided by the Toronto Beaches Lions Club. There is only one Easter Bunny. Small stuffed bunnies are allowed for decoration.

  6. All Participants must have an Easter Theme included. Non decorated participants will not be allowed.

  7. Remember - (Please "Do not throw Candy")

  8. All vehicles taking part in the parade must be decorated or entry may be refused.

  9. No religious or political pamphlets are allowed.

  10. Any written material on a float or handed out must be approved by the Toronto Beaches Lions Club in advance and you must be registered accordingly .

  11. This is a community parade - no alcohol or highly caffeinated drinks are allowed to be distributed.

  12. Be aware of height restrictions as there are streetcar wires overhead on Queen St.
